Let's begin with some straight talk. I may not be the right person to assist you. Why? If your goal is to sell your collection outright due to a need for immediate cash, I understand, but I can't help you. If you watch some of the pawn shows on television then you will appreciate it when I say if you are willing to take 20-50% of your collection's value then I am definitely not the person to talk to.

However, if you want someone who will take the time to make sure you get top dollar, then I probably can help you. How can I know this? I have worked with families from across the country who shopped their collection to major dealers and auction houses, finally to discover me and enjoy through my work 30-50% more money than they were offered anywhere else.

I only accept a few consignments each year. Why? Because what I do to ensure my clients get top dollar can take hundreds of hours of work to achieve that end. My time is limited so I only accept consignments when I'm confident I can get my clients far more money than if they sold their collection outright.

Don't take the risk of selling rare and valuable coins or paper money for a fraction of their value - especially to those advertising on TV, "SEND US YOUR GOLD OR SILVER" - or to the traveling buyer holding an event at a local hotel - or to your friendly local jeweler who doesn't work in coins and paper money every day so doesn't know what they are really worth - or some big name coin auction house who really doesn't care in the end what your items sell for in their auctions. They have tons of overhead and have to churn their inventory without concern for what an individual item sells for.

Please do not contact me to learn the value of individual items that a relative left you - I don't do that. Nor do I deal in foreign coins and paper money and do not answer questions about them. But if you are ready for an experienced and highly skilled professional who will help you sell your U.S. coin or paper money collection and get top dollar - I am the right person to work with.
